St. Paul’s is a radical & loving church community situated in the heart of Church Street and Lisson Grove, Marylebone.

We seek to be a community that lives out the call of Jesus to love God and love our neighbour. We do this through our daily worship and prayer, and we do it in practical ways by having our church doors open every day to our community and showing hospitality to all who enter.

We are a community that demonstrates the radical welcome, generous hospitality and transformative love of God.

In our prayer and worship we want to connect people with the amazing power of God’s love and healing presence of Christ in the Eucharist.  Our congregation is made up of all ages, from all over the world – and we look forward to welcoming you!

The building was designed by James W. Higgins and first opened its doors in 1839 just as Church Street Market opened. The church continued to grow as Marylebone Station opened in 1899. Unfortunately the building fell into disrepair in the 1960’s and was shut in 1976. However in 1986, after a huge redevelopment and being chosen for a national award for creative church spaces – St Paul’s reopened as a place of worship and a resource for the whole community. We still hold to that vision today and strive to be a place of welcome and hospitality.
